Full Journal pdf1999-05-18 House Journal Page 1636 SB 101 Representative Green moved and asked unanimous consent that the House consider the Conference Committee with limited powers of free conference report on the following, which is under Unfinished Business (page 1595), at this time: HOUSE CS FOR CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 101(FIN) "An Act relating to disasters and to the disaster relief fund." and CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 101(FIN) am (same title) There being no objection, it was so ordered. 1999-05-18 House Journal Page 1637 SB 101 Representative Green moved that the House adopt the Conference Committee with limited powers of free conference report, thus adopting CCS SB 101 and recommended that the members vote no. The question being: "Shall the House adopt the Conference Committee with limited powers of free conference report?" The roll was taken with the following result: CCS SB 101 Adopt YEAS: 0 NAYS: 34 EXCUSED: 0 ABSENT: 6 Nays: Berkowitz, Brice, Bunde, Cissna, Coghill, Cowdery, Croft, Davies, Davis, Dyson, Foster, Green, Grussendorf, Halcro, Harris, Hudson, Joule, Kapsner, Kemplen, Kerttula, Kohring, Kookesh, Kott, Masek, Morgan, Mulder, Murkowski, Phillips, Porter, Sanders, Smalley, Therriault, Whitaker, Williams Absent: Austerman, Barnes, James, Moses, Ogan, Rokeberg And so, the House failed to adopt the Conference Committee with limited powers of free conference report, thus failing to adopt: CONFERENCE CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 101 "An Act relating to disasters and to the disaster relief fund." The Speaker appointed the following members to a 2d Conference Committee to meet with a like committee from the Senate: Representative Phillips Representative Barnes Representative Grussendorf The Speaker also granted limited powers of free conference to the House conferees on the following specific points: Page 1, line 13 and Subparagraph (B) of new Section AS 26.23.020 The Chief Clerk was instructed to so notify the Senate. 1999-05-18 House Journal Page 1638 SB 101 The Senate adopted the conference committee report with limited powers of free conference (Senate journal page 1621).
